God's comfort comes when hardship hits
CWC Founder Bonnie Vidlund recently spoke to a support group at local Church in Anoka County. Many attendees were facing difficult situations and hardships. Bonnie shared how God inspired her to create the Hope Blanket, which features words from Psalm 91 alongside an image of a soaring eagle. The blanket serves as a reminder that God loves them, acknowledges their pain, understands their struggles, and stands by them, offering comfort and hope. Tears, hugs, and stories were exchanged during the gathering as everyone held their Hope Blankets close. Some participants immediately wrapped themselves in the blankets as they worshiped together.

God's Hope Blanket comforts those Living Alone
When days get long, companionship is treasured, especially for those who live alone. The Hope Blanket has become an additional source of comfort. CWC volunteers distributed the Hope Blankets to older adults in a local home, and they were received with heartfelt gratitude and joy.
As they hugged their blankets tightly, the smiles on their faces were all the thanks we needed. It was a pleasure to share the Hope Blanket with those who will find comfort in God's Words.
