27 Adults and Children said "Yes" to Jesus and Were Baptized!

Every year CWC joins East Gate Ministry and 25 other churches and ministries to pour out Christ's love in the East St. Paul Community. As people enjoyed free music, games, prizes, and food, they also received love, encouragement and prayer from local ministries. This year, 27 people prayed to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They also chose to be baptized to celebrate this life changing decision. Our CWC team was there to wrap God's Hope Blanket around them and pray with them after they were baptized. It is one of our most joyful days of the year.

Hope Blanket, Psalm 91: God's Words of Protection

Bonnie Vidlund, the founder of CWC, spoke at The Dwelling Place, a transitional housing program for domestically abused women. As she was sharing the story of God's blanket, she noticed a woman with tears running down her face. Later, this person (Maria), a Hispanic woman with tears still in her eyes, shared the experience of her first night at the shelter. She saw the Hope Blanket draped across her bed with the words of Psalm 91 printed on the blanket in her Spanish language and knew these words were important. She read them every night as she covered herself with God's Blanket and knew God was protecting her from her abuser.

Help shelters cover hurting people with the love of Christ by continuing to support our CWC Ministry.
