Honoring Veterans
At a recent Salute the Troops event in Jordan, Minnesota, Covered With Christ shared God’s Hope Blankets, lifted prayers, and felt God’s presence deeply.
The keynote speaker, David, courageously shared his story of the tragedy, pain, and lasting impact he experienced during his active-duty military service. His story was a powerful reminder that PTSD is real. Lives are deeply affected, families carry the burden alongside their loved ones, and at times, hope can feel very far away.
But God!
In the midst of pain, Jesus brings hope. Through His grace, healing can begin, and little by little, lives can be restored.
It was an incredible honor and privilege to wrap David in a God’s Hope Blanket as a tangible reminder that he is seen, loved, prayed for, and never alone. David was deeply moved, and his family expressed heartfelt gratitude for this simple but meaningful gift of comfort and faith. What a beautiful reminder that even in the darkest seasons, God’s hope, grace, and love can bring healing, restoration, and new life.
We are grateful for the opportunity to honor David and all those who have sacrificed in service to our country—and to remind them that they are covered not only by a blanket, but by prayer and Christ's enduring love.
You are making a difference in God's Kingdom.
Our inventory of the Hope Blanket is depleted, and requests continue to come in. CWC desires to continue covering those in our communities who are hurting, lost and desperate for God's love and comfort with His Hope Blanket. We need $4,000 to place our next order. We appreciate your incredible partnership and faithfulness to cover people with the Love of Christ!
Sharing Hope at a City Summer Celebration
Throughout the summer, Covered With Christ partnered with two local churches at Forest Lake’s Arts in the Park to share Christ's love and hope with people in the community.
Each Tuesday evening, we offered free Bibles, crosses, conversation, and prayer, and, as the Holy Spirit led, we gave Hope Blankets to those facing cancer, loss, broken relationships, job loss, and other difficult circumstances.
Over the summer, we were blessed to share 110 Bibles, 540 crosses, and 30 Hope Blankets, while more than 100 people shared prayer requests and received prayer.
We praise God for every person reached and every opportunity to share His love and hope. All glory belongs to God!
