For many people living on the streets, each day can bring loneliness, uncertainty, and deep need. Some have faced repeated hardship, broken relationships, illness, addiction, or loss, and hope can feel far away. In those moments, a simple gift offered with kindness can become an open door to conversation, prayer, and the reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

Many people from all walks of life are hurting. They carry profound pain and grief but often don't know how to handle it, so it becomes hidden. When we offer a Hope Blanket and prayer to someone facing life's challenges, it can sometimes bring all that pain to the surface.

CWC has partnered with Crossroads Church and Revive Church in Forest Lake at the "Arts in the Park" weekly gathering to pray for the hurting people in our community. People see the "Need Prayer" sign and share their stories with us, and request prayer.

God's comfort comes when hardship hits. CWC Founder Bonnie Vidlund recently spoke to a support group at local Church in Anoka.
